Job summary

Materion is seeking a Machine Operator to run production equipment and adhere to safety and quality standards. You will read detailed instructions, measure parts, record data, and perform visual and dimensional inspections throughout the process.

The role requires flexibility for 8/10/12-hour shifts, weekends/overtime as needed, and physical ability to lift up to 45 lbs. Prior manufacturing exposure is preferred, with a focus on accuracy and reliability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to use measuring devices (micrometers, calipers, gauges).
• Must be able to stand, lift up to 45 lbs and perform data entry.

Responsibilities

• Operate various production machines following procedures.
• Record process data as required by SOPs.
• Inspect parts visually and dimensionally and classify defects.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and assist with quality checks.
