Pratt Industries is seeking a Production Operator in Newnan, GA to safely operate production machines, perform setup and cleanup, and suggest improvements to meet customer demand. The role requires adherence to safety rules, GMPs, and quality procedures, plus the ability to read tapes measures, follow instructions, and work with cross-functional teams.

Overtime, good housekeeping, and reporting production data are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Preferred: prior packaging industry experience (paper, plastics, converting).
• Ability to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy.
• Ability to read and follow instructions; quality, safety, job packets.
• May be required to maintain a Lift Truck Operator License.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machines safely; setup, run, clean, and propose improvements.
• Follow Pratt Industries safety rules and participate in safety committees.
• Maintain quality by stopping bad quality and complying with GMPs.
• Maintain housekeeping and report maintenance needs.
• Complete production and quality data reports.
• Overtime may be required; work holidays as needed.
