Job summary

Clarios in Canby, OR operation for automotive battery production. The Graveyard shift runs 11:30 pm–8:00 am, Sun night through Fri, with daily overtime and weekends as needed. Start rate $21.50 with wage progression to $24–28 after 90 days and further increases over 5 years plus $0.75 shift differential.

Total earnings exceed $80,000/year with bonuses and benefits. We offer medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with match, paid holidays and vacation, PPE provided, and advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of assembly or similar manufacturing experience.
• Basic computer, reading, writing and math skills.
• Able to work daily overtime up to 12 hours and weekends as needed.
• Able to stand, walk, bend, lift and work in an industrial environment.
• Able to wear required PPE.
• Successful completion of pre-employment checks (background, physical, drug screen).

Responsibilities

• Operate semi-automated production machines to manufacture automotive batteries in a fast-paced environment.
• Make machine adjustments, troubleshoot equipment issues, and perform operator preventive maintenance.
• Conduct visual inspections and required quality checks.
• Operate pallet jacks and move materials as needed.
• Maintain schedule and inventory accuracy, keep records of production and defects.
• Follow all safety, quality, environmental, and production standards.

Machine Operator - Graveyard

Canby, OR | Full-Time | Union Position

Earn over $25/hour and over $80,000/year, bonuses, overtime opportunities, and weekly pay.

Pay Progression including wage progression and shift differential:

• $21.50/hour starting rate - first 90 days
• Average after 90 days $24-28/hour through daily incentive pay
• Additional wage progression over 5 years starting after 90 days ($.67/hour increasing to $2.77/hour)
• Additional $.75/hour graveyard shift differential
• February 2027 guaranteed wage increase and $750 retention bonus

Additional Earnings:

• Overtime opportunities
• Quarterly bonus up to 4%

Total annual average earnings is over $80,000/year

Schedule:

11:30 pm - 8:00 am Monday (starts Sunday night) - Friday, must be available to work daily overtime and weekends as needed.

What You'll Do:
