Job summary
AA Anchor Bolt, Inc., a family-owned bolt manufacturer in Northville, MI, seeks a General Laborer & Machine Operator for a full-time role in our production shop. You will read job sheets, measure, cut, bend and assemble material to specifications while supporting packing, shipping and quality control.
The ideal candidate is mechanically minded, detail-oriented, able to lift up to 50 lbs, and comfortable working overtime when needed.
Qualifications
- Must read and comprehend job sheets and work instructions.
- Attention to detail is essential to ensure quality and safety.
- Basic math including fractions is required for measuring and cutting.
- Able to read a tape measure and perform measurements.
- Fluent English communication is required.
- Ability to work independently or in a team and stay organized under pressure.
Responsibilities
- Read job sheets and work orders to determine specifications.
- Use hand and power tools to measure, cut, bend and assemble material per specs.
- Assist with packaging, shipping and handling duties; may learn tack-welding.
- Log job time using shop tablet/computers and maintain clean, safe work area.
