Job summary

MacDermid Alpha Electronics Solutions, part of Element Solutions Inc., is hiring production staff for our MAES unit. The role involves operating production equipment, loading materials, assembling and packaging, and following safety and 5S practices. You will contribute to daily production goals, maintain quality, and document records.

We seek reliable, safety‑minded team players with 0–2 years’ experience and a high school diploma or GED. On‑site role in the Itasca/Chicago area.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • 0-2 years of manufacturing, production, or related experience.
  • Basic math and measurement skills.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Experience using hand tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Operate production equipment per standard work.
  • Load and unload materials, components, and finished products.
  • Perform assembly, machine operation, packaging, and other tasks; inspect products.
  • Complete production records and documentation.
  • Maintain a clean, safe 5S work area.
  • Assist with equipment changeovers and basic setup.
  • Monitor equipment; report issues.
  • Follow company safety policies and procedures.
  • Support daily production, quality, and efficiency goals.

What will you be doing?
  • Operate production equipment in accordance with standard work instructions
  • Load and unload materials, components, and finished products
  • Perform assembly, machine operation, packaging, and other manufacturing tasksInspect products to ensure they meet quality requirements and specifications
  • Complete production records and documentation accurately
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area following 5S principles
  • Assist with equipment changeovers and basic setup activities
  • Monitor equipment performance and report operational, quality, or safety concerns
  • Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and work practices
  • Support the achievement of daily production, quality, and efficiency goals
