Job summary

MacDermid Alpha Electronics Solutions in the Chicago area is hiring for a manufacturing production role on a 12-hour rotating schedule (2 on/2 off, 3 on and vice versa) including nights and weekends with a 10% shift differential. You will operate production equipment, load/unload materials, perform assembly and packaging, and ensure product quality while maintaining a clean, safe work area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 0–2 years of manufacturing, production, or related experience.
• Basic math and measurement skills; ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Who are we looking for?

This position follows a 12-hour schedule, which includes a rotating pattern of 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on (and vice versa), resulting in a mix of 3- and 4-day workweeks. The schedule includes nights and weekends as part of the rotation. Candidates must be willing and able to work this schedule. This role is also eligible for a shift differential 10% added to standard hourly rates.

What will you be doing?

• Operate production equipment in accordance with standard work instructionsLoad and unload materials, components, and finished products
• Perform assembly, machine operation, packaging, and other manufacturing tasksInspect products to ensure they meet quality requirements and specifications
• Complete production records and documentation accurately
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area following 5S principles
• Assist with equipment changeovers and basic setup activities
• Monitor equipment performance and report operational, quality, or safety concerns
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and work practices
• Support the achievement of daily production, quality, and efficiency goals
