Job summary

Kettle Cuisine is seeking a Machine Operator Filling in Everett, WA to perform machine operations, troubleshoot, setup, and ensure quality control. You will track weights and waste, deliver residuals, and maintain tools and scales while upholding sanitation standards.

Flexibility for overtime and weekends is required to meet production goals. The role emphasizes learning HMI/control panels, teamwork, and proactive problem-solving in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Operate machines, troubleshoot, setup, quality control and waste management
  • Track weights and waste, deliver residual to manual line
  • Organize and maintain tools and scales; sanitation required
  • Escalate major incidents per department protocol; train peers
  • Enter downtime and explain incidents; perform datasheet checks
  • Support other departments and help meet filling metrics

Job Summary

KeyResponsibilities:

Performs operations of machines, including troubleshooting, cleanup, setup, quality control, and waste control. Flows towork

Performs weight and wastetracking

Effectively delivers residual to manualline

Organizes andmaintainsall tools andscales

Sanitation of equipment isrequired

Follows department escalation to ensure all major incidents are dealt withpromptly

Trains peers and temporary workers on processes and machine operation within the department

Make sure down time is gettingentered intothe HMI with clear explanations of whathappened

Performs data sheet checks and ensures completion of datasheet

Organizes andmaintainsall tools andscales

Perform tasks to support other departments whendirected

Works with team towards meeting Filling metrics to drive goals and sustainability of the teams, this to be done through resource alignment, planning ahead for changeovers, looking ahead to optimize the schedule, empowering the teams to drive communication and tight tracking of loss through each processorder

Other duties as assigned by Team leader or Business Unit Leader

Qualifications and Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Previouswork experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food industry

Must be available to work overtime andweekends

Technical Experience:

Ability to learn system logic andoperateHMI/control panels and fine tune equipment for minor and majoradjustments

Pay Range for Machine Operator Filling

The Machine Operator Filling base pay range$20.77 - $22.77/hourly.The listed salary range represents Kettle Cuisine’s good faith estimate for this position and represents the minimum and maximum fornew hire salaries for the Everett, WA location only. Ranges will be reviewed on a regular basis. An employee’srate of pay within the range is determined by their qualifications, relevant experience, and demonstrated performance over time.In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team membersas a part of any final offer. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth.The Machine Operator Filling position is eligible for our comprehensive benefits package. Kettle Cuisine and all its legal entities comply with all federal, state,and local minimum wage laws.
