Responsibilities

1. Machine Operator – Operations I:

• Operate basic machinery independently at a defined rate with proper quality.
• Develop understanding of products and their impact on the business.
• Continuously learn principles, practices, and processes related to the job.
• Handle materials safely using proper lifting techniques.
• Communicate hazards or equipment issues to leadership.
• Provide basic training to employees as needed.
• Cross-train in different areas within the department and adapt to different stations.

Machine Operator – Operations II:

• All responsibilities of Machine Operator I.
• Operate complex machinery independently (at least 50% of stations) with proper quality.
• Frequently train employees on work instructions and standard procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• 2-3 years of experience operating relevant machinery or equivalent.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
• Proficient with applicable hand tools.

Physical Demands

Regularly required to talk, hear, manipulate objects, stand, walk, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. May involve computer-based work requiring periods of sitting and close vision. Occasional travel may be required.
