Role Overview

The Machine Operator is responsible for operating production equipment that fills liquid into a variety of container types. This role involves making adjustments to equipment to ensure the production of quality products that meet customer specifications. The Machine Operator II also handles labeling, packaging, and quality assurance checks of all products on the filling lines.

Key Responsibilities

• Reference work orders to set up production lines appropriately.
• Lead setup and operation of filling lines according to established procedures.
• Adjust settings and perform repairs to meet product specifications and quality standards.
• Accurately document activities using Product History Records (PHRs) per GMP standards.
• Check bottles for quality before filling.
• Monitor equipment operation and make necessary adjustments.
• Communicate quality issues to manufacturing leaders.
• Ensure correct raw materials are used.
• Complete and report all production logs and documentation.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues to maintain efficiency.
• Meet and exceed production targets.
• Maintain work pace to meet goals.
• Assist in training other personnel.
• Follow all safety and quality procedures.
• Operate forklift and pallet lift as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Proficiency with filling and packaging equipment.
