Job summary

Affordable Interior Systems Inc. is seeking a Machine Operator – Fabric Cutting to run a computerized cutting machine on fabrics used in commercial office furniture.

You will load and unload materials, operate the machine, change tooling, and read production paperwork. You will conduct daily TPM inspections, maintain high attention to detail, follow procedures for correct fabric application, and assist in other department areas when capacity requires.

Qualifications

• Proficient with computer-based cutting systems.
• Ability to read and understand production paperwork.
• Expected to work overtime as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Operate computerized fabric cutting machine to cut fabrics, vinyls and leathers.
• Load/unload materials, change tooling, and inspect machine per TPM.
• Maintain attention to detail and follow procedures for correct fabric application.
• Assist other department areas (sewing, gluing, assembly, packing, material handling) when needed.
