Job summary

Springs Window Fashions is seeking a Fabric Cutting Operator to support daily production in the Cutting Area. You will prepare, measure, and cut fabric to work orders, operate cutting machines, weigh materials, and ensure quality.

You will maintain records, keep the area clean, follow safety procedures, wear PPE, and meet daily goals while working in a fast-paced environment. This is a 1st shift, full-time role requiring a high school diploma and 3–6 months of manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3-6 months manufacturing experience preferred.
• Must be able to read the work order and perform basic math.
• Must be safety and quality conscious.
• Excellent attendance and dependable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, measure, and cut fabric according to work orders.
• Operate cutting machines, weigh materials, and ensure production goals are met.
• Monitor quality, identify defects, and communicate issues as needed.
• Maintain accurate records, complete cutting sheets, and keep area clean and organized.
• Follow safety procedures, use PPE, and comply with company standards.
• Continually watch for defects and alert area Coordinator and QC.

Shift: 5:30 AM- 2:00 PM M-F plus Overtime

Pay: $23 per hour

Job Description:

Supports daily operations in the Production Cutting Area by performing assigned tasks such as preparing, measuring, and cutting fabric according to work orders. Operates cutting machines, weighs materials, and ensures production goals are met. Monitors quality, identifies defects, and communicates issues as needed. • Review the work material to ensure they are correct

Requirements

Education and Experience

• Minimum - High school diploma or equivalent
• 3-6 months previous manufacturing experiencepreferred

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. occasionally
