Winpak Portion Packaging in Chicago Heights, IL is seeking a Machine Operator to join the Production Team. You will ensure smooth machine operations, maximize production efficiency, and follow all procedures to maintain safety and quality.

The role requires hands-on experience with setting up machines, reading tape measures, inspecting parts with calipers or micrometers, and collaborating with a team to meet production targets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably as a Machine Operator.
• Experience in plastics (extrusion & thermoforming).
• Ability to read tape measures, schematics, and manuals.
• Strong understanding of production procedures and machinery.
• Adherence to health and safety regulations, including wearing protective gear.
• Basic mathematical skills for measuring and adjusting machine settings.

Responsibilities

Compensation Range

The compensation range provided is a general guideline only. Pay will be determined based on the candidate's experience and expertise and is subject to vary. $26.74 - $31.10.
