Job summary

Winpak Portion Packaging, based in Sauk Village/South Chicago Heights, IL, seeks an HR Recruiter to support full-cycle recruitment for hourly roles. The role collaborates with managers, HRBP, and branding teams to attract, identify and hire top talent, while ensuring a strong candidate experience from application to onboarding.

The successful candidate will coach managers, manage offers and onboarding, and contribute to employer branding initiatives. Hybrid work is available.

Qualifications

• Experience managing full-cycle recruitment for a wide variety of roles.
• Experience advising, coaching and educating hiring teams on best practices.
• Experience using sourcing methods and tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter and Indeed Resume.
• Strong verbal and written communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Knowledge of employment legislation and best practices related to recruitment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Hiring Managers and build relationships to guide the recruitment process.

Winpak Portion Packaging is seeking a HR Recruiter to join their team based out of Sauk Village and South Chicago Heights, Illinois.

Our team is seeking a proactive and strategic HR Recruiter to support the full-cycle recruitment process for hourly roles. In this position, you will collaborate closely with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to execute effective recruitment strategies that help us identify, attract, and hire top-tier talent.

You will be a trusted advisor, providing coaching and guidance to hiring managers on best practices and ensuring an exceptional candidate experience from application to onboarding. Your role will be pivotal in representing and strengthening Winpak's talent brand, while also contributing to various Talent Acquisition projects as needed. Key Responsibilities

• Collaborating with Hiring Managers
• - Build strong relationships with hiring managers, providing coaching and guidance throughout the recruitment process.
• Screening and Interviewing:
• - Review resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates and conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidate qualifications & experience
• Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers, ensure a smooth process, participate in interviews as needed and provide input regarding candidate suitability.
• Coach hiring managers in decision-making and support for final candidate selection.
• Offer Negotiation and Onboarding:
• - Extend offers to select candidates and negotiate terms of employment, ensuring alignment with company policies and compensation structures.
• Collaborate and partner with HR to manage the onboarding process, ensuring a seamless transition for new hires.
• Additional Responsibilities
• - Support the development and continuous improvement of recruitment processes, ensuring efficiency and consistency.
• Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws, company policies, and industry best practices throughout the hiring process and ensure confidentiality is maintained through recruitment lifecycle
• Support the development and execution of employer branding initiatives to attract top talent & represent Winpak at career fairs, networking events, and university recruitment events to promote the company’s brand and job opportunities.

Required Qualifications

• Post Secondary education in Business Administration, Human Resources or equivalent
• Experience managing full-cycle recruitment for a wide variety of roles, including job requisition management, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
• Experience advising, coaching and educating hiring teams on best practices
• Experience using sourcing methods and tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed Resume
• Experience in a role that required excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders effectively and professionally
• Experience in a role that required organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple open requisitions simultaneously.
• Understanding of employment legislation, and best practices related to recruitment and hiring.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience proficiently using technology tools such as Microsoft Office Suit (Outlook, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint) and recruitment software & applicant tracking systems (ATS)
• Experience in tracking and reporting recruitment metrics to help identify trends
• Experience supporting employer branding initiatives and representing a company at career fairs or networking events.
• Experience assessing candidates based on qualifications, experience, and organizational fit
• Experience in a role that required a high level of confidentiality
• Experience recruiting within a manufacturing, production or similar industry

Additional Details

• This position is a full-time position with an opportunity for a hybrid work model

Compensation

The compensation range provided is a general guideline only. Compensation range $25.00/hr -$30.00/hr. Pay will be determined based on the candidate's experience and expertise and is subject to vary.
