Machine Operator - Extrusion - Night Shift

Overview

IMMEDIATELY HIRING Extrusion Operators for our Franklin Park location. Do you have at least one year of experience operating Extrusion or Thermoforming machines? If you enjoy working with your hands, have the ability to problem solve and troubleshoot mechanical issues as they arise, and are eager to grow your career, then this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Available shift: 7PM to 7AM with every other weekend off.

Compensation

• Starting from $21.32 up to $26.93 per hour based on experience
• Eligible for annual and skill-based wage increases

Responsibilities

• Operate machines safely and efficiently, maintaining quality standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues, providing innovative solutions
• Support and guide less experienced personnel
• Complete shift paperwork accurately
• Inspect products for defects and adjust machines accordingly
• Maintain housekeeping and safety standards
• Demonstrate mechanical aptitude, problem-solving, and effective communication skills

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience as an Extrusion Machine Operator in manufacturing
• Willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including every other weekend
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with extrusion machinery
• Excellent communication and record-keeping skills
• Ability to perform quality checks and understand production measurements
• Knowledge of product quality standards
• Comfortable wearing PPE as required
• Manual dexterity
