****EXTRUSION MACHINE OPERATORS ** Hiring Immediately in Manteno! **

Do you have experience working as an Extrusion Operator or Plastics Machine Operator?

We are looking for you!

Pay rates: $23.17+ (depending on experience)

Shift options:

• Night shift: 7:00 pm to 7:00 am (plus $1.00 shift differential)
• Day shift: 7:00 am to 7:00 pm

Both shifts follow a 2 days on, 2 days off schedule, every other weekend.

Job Duties include:

• Following department procedures on roll identification, labeling, production records, and reclaim roll procedures.
• Operating downstream equipment such as edge trim grinders, pull roll stand, silicon coater, and winder.
• Handling OPS roll stock from the winder to the slitter and WIP racking systems.
• Performing QC lab tests for OPS sheets, SPC control charting, and using QA/S computer systems.
• Assisting in recycling scrap OPS sheets.
• Supporting Operator C (Specialist) in threading the line from die to slitter, including MDO and TDO.
• Interfacing with computer control systems and quality lab instruments.

Qualifications:

• Develop knowledge of equipment, controls, safety features, and operating procedures for all lines to ensure safe operation.
• Perform Lockout/Tagout procedures and preventative maintenance tasks.
• Assist with line maintenance and escalate issues through help chain as needed.
• Follow all safety policies and participate in safety programs.
• Knowledge of SAP and certification in forklift operation in a manufacturing environment.
