ABB is seeking an extrusion operator to set up and run extrusion machines, following work instructions and quality plans to produce parts to specification. The role requires reading blueprints and using precision tools to adjust equipment, while maintaining safety and documenting progress in the manufacturing system.

Production Supervisor

Sets up and operates Extrusion machines/manufacturing processes under moderate supervision/monitoring. Performs other assembly and fabrication operations as assigned.
Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls and reach with hands and arms. The employee is required to stand, walk, sit, communicate and occasionally to stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must frequently lift up to 35 pounds. Visual abilities required may include close vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
The employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts, works in outside air weather conditions, and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. The work may involve toxic and/or non-toxic fumes, chemicals, airborne particles, vibration and heat. The noise level in the work environment may frequently be loud and hearing protection may be required based on the work area and noise level.
