Job summary

ABB is seeking a Production Operator to set up and run extrusion machines and related manufacturing processes. You’ll follow safety rules, read work instructions, and adjust equipment to meet specifications using calipers and gauges.

You’ll contribute to teamwork through cross-training, assist with minor repairs, document production data in the system, and be prepared for overtime as needed. A high school diploma or GED and basic shop math are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; related experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety and operating instructions.
• Capable of following quality plans and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate extrusion machines and manufacturing processes.
• Train and monitor co-workers; assist with cross-training.
• Inspect finished pieces, document using manufacturing system.
• Overtime as scheduled.
• Report malfunctions and perform minor repairs.
