Job summary

Kelly Professional & Industrial is hiring Machine Operators at a global metal fabrication company in Indianapolis, IN. Shift options are 1st (5:00am–3:30pm) and 2nd (3:30pm–2:00am) with hourly rates of $19 and $21 respectively, plus overtime and opportunities for pay raises.

You’ll operate equipment, inspect parts, and set up bending processes. The role requires mechanical aptitude, ability to read calipers, tape measures, and micrometers, and the stamina to stand and lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and machine operator experience.
• Ability to read calipers, tape measurers and mics.
• Ability to stand during shift and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery to make engine tubes and exhausts.
• Quality check parts.
• Bend tubes, trim tubes and set up benders.
• Utilize measurement devices such as calipers, tape measures, and mics.
