Energy Jobline ZR in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a dependable Machine Operator to join a growing manufacturing team. This hands-on role combines machine operation, product assembly, quality inspection, and equipment setup in a fast-paced production setting.

You will operate and set up machines, assemble parts, perform quality checks with calipers and micrometers, read blueprints, and maintain accurate production records while adhering to safety and company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Manufacturing, production, or machine operation experience including setup and tool changes.
• Experience using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers) for basic quality checks.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and apply basic shop math.
• Strong attention to detail with ability to document production information in English.

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, and make minor machine adjustments while producing components according to production specifications.
• Assemble, combine, cap, inspect, and test manufactured parts to ensure proper fit, function, and quality.
• Perform quality inspections using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and comparators while documenting inspection results.
• Verify materials, maintain accurate production records, and ensure work meets quality standards and production requirements.
• Perform minor troubleshooting, basic preventative maintenance, and safely operate multiple machines when required.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following OSHA regulations, PPE requirements, and company policies.

• Ability to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive hand movements, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
