Job summary

Aerotek is hiring a Machine Operator for a permanent 1st shift position in Brooklyn Park, MN. You will operate and monitor production equipment, disassemble and reassemble filling machines, and perform setup/changeovers as needed.

The role supports aerospace and defense products and offers direct hire benefits from day one. Key qualifications include mechanical aptitude, experience with hand and power tools, ability to stand 8 hours, lift up to 30 lbs, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand and power tools.
• Experience in manufacturing, machine operation, assembly, maintenance, automotive repair, or construction.
• Able to stand for an 8-hour shift.
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Able to read and understand work instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production equipment.
• Disassemble and reassemble filling machines for cleaning and maintenance.
• Use hand and power tools including wrenches, sockets, screwdrivers, and drills.
• Clean machine components using approved solvents and cleaning processes.
• Assist with machine setup and changeovers.
• Inspect products for quality, weight, and measurement accuracy.
• Identify equipment issues and help maintain efficient production.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
