Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a reliable Machine Operator for the 1st shift (6:00AM - 2:00PM) at our Orwigsburg, PA facility. The role involves operating milling equipment, loading materials, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met in a busy manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate has manufacturing experience, can operate a forklift, and is willing to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed. Full-time benefits include health coverage, PTO, 401(k), and more.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
• Ability to operate a forklift.
• Reading and understanding work instructions and safety procedures.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor milling machinery and related equipment.
• Load raw materials and remove finished products from production lines.
• Adjust machine settings to maintain product quality and production efficiency.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance.
• Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and report major equipment problems.
• Conduct quality checks and ensure products meet specifications.
• Maintain accurate production records and reports.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets.
