• This role is a full-time position within our production department where we have a team approach to batch manufacturing. Timely and regular attendance is crucial to your success and the safety of the team.
• The regular hours of the role are 6:45 am to 3:00 pm. There is a paid lunch break; however, you will not be allowed to leave the building during that time.
• There is mandatory overtime depending on the needs of the business. The schedule is posted for the next 6 months in the stretch room. Additional overtime may be required weekly. Once trained, you will be asked to work overtime one week in advance, with no more than 4 hours either before or after your shift.

Job Requirements

• Verify all TA item code numbers prior to charging the blender and record all lot numbers of staged materials on the batch card.
• Clean and inspect the blender to ensure readiness for the next compound charge, stage raw materials, and prepare the blender accordingly.
• Charge all hand adds to the blender as specified by the batch card.
• Report any procedural deviations to supervision and document on the batch card.
• Coordinate blender production with other operational areas.
• Perform all functions timely, adhering to safety rules and policies.
• Practice good housekeeping and wear required PPE.
• Meet or exceed plant performance indicators.
• Participate in Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
