Aerotek is seeking a Machine Operator to work on aerospace components on the Kent, WA shop floor. You will operate CNC and Swiss-style machines, load materials, monitor performance, and conduct minor setups to ensure high-precision parts meet strict quality standards.
You will measure with micrometers and calipers, adjust tools based on results, and maintain a clean, safe work area. This contract-to-hire role offers full onsite work with competitive hourly pay and benefits.
This role focuses on operating production machinery to manufacture small, high-precision aerospace parts. You will load and unload parts, monitor machine performance, perform minor setups, and use precision measuring tools to ensure all components meet strict quality standards.
You will work in a production environment where precision and quality are highly valued, contributing directly to the manufacture of critical aerospace components. This position is based on the shop floor in a hands-on production environment. You will work directly with CNC and Swiss-style machines, as well as precision inspection tools such as micrometers and calipers. The role requires standing for extended periods, working around active machinery, and following all shop safety procedures. Expect a structured manufacturing setting with a focus on accuracy, cleanliness, and adherence to established processes and quality standards.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kent, WA.
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
