Responsibilities


  • Produce custom aluminum blanks and signage through shear presses, kick presses, pneumatic presses, and CNC routers.

  • Support the department Supervisor in daily operations, including monitoring workflow, managing inventory, and ensuring production targets are met — acting as a key point of contact in the Supervisor’s absence.

  • Inspect completed parts for conformance to standards and tolerances.

  • Report non-conforming parts to supervisor / QC staff.

  • Maintain focus and attention when operating machinery at all times.

  • Communicate needs with material handlers.

  • Remove scrap and maintain organized work area.



Qualifications


  • Previous manufacturing experience required.

  • Must demonstrate the physical ability to perform tasks in a safe and efficient manner.

  • Must be capable of communicating effectively with production team and department supervisors.

  • Must be able to read and interpret design drawings.

  • Strong math and computer skills.

  • Ability to read a tape measure.

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.

  • Safety conscious at all times.

  • Ability to interact with individuals from all backgrounds.

  • Reliable transportation to and from work.



Physical Demands


  • Lift, push, pull, and carry tools/materials weighing 70+ lbs frequently.

  • Prolonged standing or walking, frequent bending, stooping, and reaching daily.

  • Ability to climb ladders.

  • Full range of physical motion to operate manual and electrically powered tools and machines (e.g., forklift).
