Job summary

Oldcastle APG in Lorain, OH is seeking a Production Operator to support daily manufacturing operations under supervision. You will operate equipment, inspect product quality, maintain production records, and assist with setup, maintenance, and safety procedures.

Candidates should have a high school diploma and at least two years in manufacturing, be able to lift up to 80 pounds, wear PPE, and work in a non-climate-controlled environment.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• At least two years experience in a manufacturing organization.
• Ability to communicate and follow written and verbal direction.
• Ability to complete internal certifications.
• Ability to wear PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, vest, ear protection).
• Lifts up to 80 pounds and performs physical tasks.
• Ability to stand, bend, push, pull, and climb as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment to produce products from raw materials to yard stage.
• Inspect product quality according to standards.
• Assist in maintaining accurate production records.
• Monitor machinery and report malfunctions.
• Perform setup, cleanup, preventive maintenance and job changes.
• Work with conveyors, ramps, elevators and other machinery.
• Follow Lock Out Tag Out and CPM procedures.
• Cross-train on other production aspects as needed.
• Operate mobile equipment as required.
• Maintain high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Other duties as needed.
