Job summary

Olympic Steel, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Machine Operator to operate and maintain T-Drill equipment used to form branch connections in pipe and tubing, ensuring safe, efficient production and adherence to customer specifications and company quality standards.

You will monitor production, perform quality checks, read blueprints, troubleshoot issues, and maintain a clean, safe work environment while contributing to a highly collaborative team and the company's ongoing growth.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1–3 years manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred.
  • Experience operating tube processing, drilling, or forming equipment preferred.
  • Ability to read blueprints and measuring instruments (calipers, tape measures, gauges).
  • HAAS experience.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a production team.

Job Description

The Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining T-Drill equipment used to form branch connections in pipe and tubing. This role ensures the safe, efficient, and accurate operation of machinery to produce high-quality components according to customer specifications and company quality standards. The operator will monitor production, perform quality checks, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
