Job summary

Ultipro is seeking a Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will be responsible for setting up and operating plastic molding machines, monitoring performance, and performing routine maintenance to keep equipment in peak condition.

You will also inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and adjust as needed. Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma or equivalent and show strong reading of technical drawings along with good manual dexterity.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience operating plastic molding machines is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate plastic molding machines according to established procedures.
• Monitor machines during operation to ensure proper functioning and make adjustments as necessary.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks on machines to ensure optimal performance.
• Inspect finished products for quality and make adjustments as necessary.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during production.
• Maintain inventory of raw materials and notify supervisor when supplies need to be replenished.
• Follow established safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.

You'll Be A Great Fit If You Have:

• Previous experience operating plastic molding machinespreferred.
• Strong understanding of plastic manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Mechanical training/aptitude and technical training on packaging, plastics and printing equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
