Job summary

Olympic Steel Inc is seeking an operator to oversee the daily operations of mechanical and hydraulic presses, ensuring efficient production and strict quality control across ongoing manufacturing tasks.

The role requires basic proficiency with power tools and machinery, strong mechanical aptitude, and preferably 1+ year of experience in manufacturing, contributing to timely, accurate packaging and shipment preparation.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of power tools and machinery.
• Mechanically inclined with the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• 1+ year of manufacturing experience preferred.

Job Description

This position is responsible for overseeing the operations of both mechanical and hydraulic presses. They are also responsible for inspecting material for quality conformances using various measuring devices and pack/prepare product for shipment.
