Job summary

Buckeye Fire Equipment is seeking a Machine Operator to run Automated Weld Lines and support production goals at our Kings Mountain, NC facility.

You will operate equipment with HMI, inspect welds, log data, and assist with minor repairs while working in a team-focused environment. Overtime on weekends may be required; a weekly attendance bonus is available.

Qualifications

• HMI experience is preferred and training is available.
• Candidate should be mechanically inclined and able to operate equipment safely.
• Team-oriented with clear, urgent communication to leaders on issues.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment via HMI and adjust as needed.
• Inspect welds visually and ensure cosmetic quality.
• Measure equipment and product specs for conformance.
• Use hand tools for minor repairs or adjustments.
• Log production data to maintain quality.
• May perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.

We are searching for a Machine Operator for our Automated Weld Lines to join our growing team!Full-time employees are eligible for a weekly attendance bonus! Eligible employees can receive an additional $1 per hour, for every hour worked, in addition to their hourly wages for working their scheduled shift.ResponsibilitiesUtilizes Human Machine Interface (HMI) to operate equipment and make adjustments as neededEnsures quality of product by measuring equipment to ensure proper product specifications are metResponsible for visual inspection of welds and cosmetic appearance of productUtilizes hand tools to make minor repairs or adjustments, as neededProcesses product logs to ensure consistency and qualityMay be required to perform other tasks as assigned by supervisorQualificationsPrior HMI experience is a plus.
