Job summary

Buckeye Fire Equipment is seeking a full-time manufacturing operator to run cylinder extrusion presses, load metal plates, and unload finished cylinders. You will perform dimensional and visual inspections and keep precise hourly production records while following safety rules and PPE requirements.

You must read operating instructions, write routine reports, and stand for long periods while occasionally lifting up to 35 lbs. This role supports a safety-conscious, hands-on manufacturing team.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operates cylinder extrusion presses, loading metal plates and unloading cylinders produced by the machine.
• Dimensional and visual inspection of cylinders produced.
• Tracks hourly production, makes calculations, and records results.
• May be required to perform other duties as assigned by supervision.

Full-time employees are eligible for a weekly attendance bonus!
