Job summary

Inteplast Group in Coppell, TX is seeking an Assistant printing and converting to support paper, ink, glue, and carton handling while learning flexographic and converting machinery.

You will work second shift, maintain a clean, safe production area, operate and monitor equipment, change paper rolls and plates, and ensure materials are stocked for continuous operation.

Qualifications

• Previous machine operating and packaging experience preferred.
• Experience with large rolls of paper or plastic preferred.
• Knowledge and use of hand tools (tape measure, screwdriver, wrenches).
• Good verbal and written skills required.
• Basic math required.
• Maintain a safe working environment on production lines.
• Dependable attendance and willingness for non-standard hours.
• Ability to manage job-related stress and foster productive interactions.

TITLE: Assistant printing and converting

POSITION OBJECTIVE: The machine assistant will be responsible for keeping the machines supplied with paper, ink, glue, and cartons while learning the mechanics of the flexographic and converting machines.

• All new machinery. Clean work environment. Air conditioning.
• Second shift hours - Monday - Friday.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous machine operating and packaging experience preferred.
• Experience preferred with large rolls of paper or plastic.
• Knowledge and use of various hand tools assigned including tape measure, screwdriver, wrenches, etc.
• Good verbal and written skills required.
• Basic Math required.
• Maintain a safe working environment on production lines.
• Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
• Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Change paper rolls and printing plates.

WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS SUBJECTED TO IN THIS POSITION:

• Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the use of PPE.
• Fast-paced production floor with exposure to machinery noise.

• Must complete ongoing training as required.
