Job summary

Inteplast Group is seeking an assistant for printing and converting. The role supports feeding paper, ink, and glue to the machines and cartons while learning the mechanics of the flexographic and converting equipment on a fast-paced production floor.

Qualified candidates have prior machine operating and packaging experience, basic math, and strong verbal/written communication, with a dedication to safety. Training is provided and standard benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Previous machine operating and packaging experience preferred.
• Experience preferred with large rolls of paper or plastic.
• Knowledge and use of various hand tools including tape measure, screwdriver, wrenches, etc.
• Good verbal and written skills required.
• Basic Math required.
• Maintain a safe working environment on production lines.
• Commitment to flexible/non-standard hours as necessary.
• Capable of managing stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.

Responsibilities

• Change paper rolls and printing plates.
• Monitor and keep machine supplied with paper, glue, and ink.
• Pack paper bags as necessary.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
