Description & Requirements

Starting Pay: $21.63/hr

Shift(s) Available: 2nd & 3rd – must be able to work any shift

How You Will Impact Smurfit WestRock

The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to working safely, good communication skills, experience in manufacturing, and a desire to succeed and advance.

• Operate manufacturing equipment safely and follow instructions.
• Work safely, lift/push/pull >50lbs, navigate stairs, stand, walk, bend, kneel throughout the shift.
• Read tape measures, perform basic math, and have some computer skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Perform make ready and shutdown procedures.
• Understand quality inspection criteria and product labeling.
• Maintain waste and efficiency standards.
• Inspect equipment and perform housekeeping tasks.
• Must be self-motivated, work independently, and communicate well.
• Preferably have industrial manufacturing experience.
• Be flexible with shifts and overtime; HS diploma or GED required.

Requirements

• Complete drug screen, physical, and background check.
• Proof of 18+ years of age.
• Work any shift, overtime, up to 12 hours, including some Saturdays.
• Lift up to 50 lbs with good body mechanics.
• Follow safety protocols around machinery.
