Job summary

Clarios is seeking a Machine Operator & Assembler to operate automated and semi-automated machines manufacturing automotive batteries. You will perform minor assembly, adjust settings, troubleshoot and maintain throughput while inspecting products for quality.

Role requires the ability to stand for long periods in a hot environment, with 12-hour shifts and overtime potential. Training on 1st shift accompanies 2nd/3rd shift premiums and a probationary pay raise.

Qualifications

  • Ability to perform basic operator maintenance and adjustments.
  • Comfortable in a hot environment and on 12-hour shifts.

Job description

Position: Machine Operator & Assembler

Starting Pay: $20.86/hour
Pay Increase: Raises to $21.55/hour after successful completion of a 90-day probationary period

Shift Differential: +$1.15/hr (2nd shift), +$1.50/hr (3rd shift)
Shifts:

  • 2nd: 3:00pm–11:30pm
  • 3rd: 11:00pm–7:30am
    Training: 1st shift

What You’ll Do
  • Operate automated and semi-automated machines to manufacture automotive batteries
  • Perform minor assembly tasks as part of machine operation
  • Adjust machine settings, troubleshoot issues, and perform basic operator maintenance (cleaning, greasing, replacing small parts)
  • Inspect products to ensure quality standards are met; record approved and defective units
  • Follow all safety, PPE, and production guidelines
What We’re Looking For
  • 1+ years of manufacturing experience preferred
  • Comfortable working 12-hour shifts in a hot environment
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and kneel for long periods
  • Basic computer, math, reading, and writing skills
  • Flexible to work overtime, weekends, or extended shifts as needed
  • Commitment to safety and PPE compliance
