Job summary

Parker Hannifin Corporation is seeking a shop floor operator to tend machines in Forge, Rotary and CNC departments and assist in assembly or deburring as needed. You will file paperwork, perform quality checks, and pull SPC on incoming materials while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role requires basic education, potential machining experience, and the ability to train others. Physical duties include lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for shifts on a manufacturing floor.

Qualifications

• Machine classes or vocational training helpful.
• Entry Level: ability to train on all job functions.
• Machining experience helpful.

Position Summary

Responsible for tending machines in the three machining departments on the shop floor: Forge, Rotary and CNC. Will occasionally work in the Assembly or Deburring areas if needed.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

• Tends machines and presses in Forge, Rotary or CNC Departments.
• Check for and file paperwork for completed jobs.
• Make periodic visual and gauged quality checks; complete all quality paperwork and approvals.
• Pull SPC on incoming raw materials.
• Maintain a high degree of quality and safety.
