Job summary

Owens Corning in Stokesdale, NC is seeking a Machine Operator to produce accurate, high-quality materials for shipment. You will set up and run the machine, follow safety rules, and maintain documentation and production targets.

The role requires good manual dexterity, the ability to read gauges and orders, and teamwork to meet a daily target of roughly 6,300 units. This is a full-time, first-shift position with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and understand orders and printouts.
• Ability to communicate effectively, in writing and verbally.
• Must work well with others and have good leadership ability.
• Experience in a manufacturing setting and machine operation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Machine accurate and quality materials for shipment.
• Set up machine in a timely fashion.
• Follow proper set-up procedures to ensure clearance of parts through machine.
• Keep accurate daily paperwork and process orders on worksheets.
• Achieve production of ~6,300 pcs daily.
• Coordinate work with material handlers and other team members.
• Perform preventative maintenance of the machine and lubrications.
