Owens Corning is seeking a CNC/Router Operator in Fort Mill, SC, for the night shift from Monday to Thursday, 8:00 PM - 6:30 AM. Responsible for the setup, programming, and operation of the CNC woodworking machine, ensuring quality and precision in production.
The ideal candidate must have mechanical skills, good attendance, and safety records, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Attention to detail and teamwork are essential.
Night Shift: Monday - Thursday 8:00pm-6:30am
Hourly Rate: $23 plus a shift differential
The CNC/Router Operator is responsible for setting up, programming, operating, and tending to the computerized woodworking machine (CNC Router). Responsible for starting the router, adjusting controls, and making trial cuts to ensure proper accuracy. Must be able to determine product specifications and materials, work methods, and machine setup requirements, according to blueprints and work orders. The operator feeds doors into CNC machine to produce desired routing and adjust CNC machine tables or cutting devices and set controls to produce specified cuts or operations. The operator is also responsible for monitoring operation of the CNC machine and adjusting the machine to correct problems and ensure conformance to specifications. Inspects and marks completed work pieces and stacks them on pallets, so that they can be moved to the next workstation. Verifies quality of all completed products and monitors production. Uses Masterpack data entry (scrap, reloads, production). Including Material Handler responsibilities: staging product into CNC loader based on WIP schedule, wrap, label and stage all completed product, remove and dispose of all cutout debris from machinery.
