Machine Operator
Pay: $19-21/hr.
3rd Shift: Sun-Thu (11pm to 7am)
Requirements:
Mechanically inclined and ability to read a tape measure to 1/16"
Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
Ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance of a hoist; up to 50 pounds without assistance
Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and use hands
Job Details:
Operate slitter efficiently and productively against set goals.
Loading and unloading of rolls on slitter.
Interpret and understand written information, (orders, SOP’s, Lam. and print roll tickets etc.)
Palletization, (building pallets of finished goods per customer specifications)
Bagging of finished rolls.
Quality checks slit material
Lay flat/measurement of slit web
Print quality/print defects
Roll/web tension and integrity
Enter accurate information into computer and on production forms.
Print out and attach accurate labels to finished rolls.
Keep machine and surrounding area safe and clean.
Spot and determine visual defects.
Cut out defects and splice together good material.
Complete tasks in adequate time limits, as to meet press daily goal and schedule needs.
