Job description

Johnsonville, LLC - Machine Operator

Pay Range: $27.60/hr - $28.94/hr + $2.00 Shift Premium

Hours: 9:00pm - 5:30am, Sunday-Thursday (Overtime as production demands)

Responsibilities:

1. Consistently manufacture "great tasting" sausage products according to specifications.
2. Work together with other Formulation Members to obtain World Class blending results in safety, yields, usages, and efficiencies.
3. Willingness to cross-train and operate the Franco-Matic in the stuffing department.
4. Participate in daily Grill meetings and project teams.
5. Think proactively and understand how formulation affects plant flow.
6. Set personal and team goals to achieve "superlative" performance supporting the Johnsonville Way.
7. Continuously seek new and better ways to meet commitments to yourself, your team, and Johnsonville.
8. Create and update a Personal Development Commitment to set goals and track accomplishments.
9. Rotate within Formulation and other departments for break relief opportunities.

Experience:

• Manufacturing experience in the Food Industry preferred.

Qualifications:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Solid math skills.
• Ability to accurately complete production documentation.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Ability to obtain a forklift license.
• Ability to independently set up the Wolfking grinder after training.
• Identify formulation Critical Control Points (CCPs) and maintain GMPs.
• Willingness to learn basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Access, etc.).
• Learn SAP basics and RF scanner operation.
• Willingness to cross-train in the Riverside Stuffing department.
• Proficiency in English, based on business necessity.

Other:

• Pass pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check.
