Service Wire is a leading manufacturer of industrial, utility, and commercial wire and cable. Our Phoenix manufacturing facility is seeking conscientious and team-oriented Machine Operators for a full-time position.

The Machine Operators are responsible for preparing and setting up production machines, operating manufacturing machinery, monitoring wire quality, recording fabrication data, and transporting wire and materials throughout the facility using a forklift.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

1. Prepare and set up machines for production, including positioning the payoff, feeder, and take-up.
2. Operate machinery by adjusting and maintaining production controls according to specifications.
3. Monitor wire quality during production and for finished products.
4. Perform routine lubrication and minor preventative maintenance on machinery.
5. Observe machine operation for malfunctions and report immediately.
6. Record detailed daily production data.
7. Maintain safety standards and a clean work environment.
8. Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications/Requirements

1. High School Diploma/GED or one year of related industrial experience or equivalent training.
2. Strong basic math and measuring skills.
3. Ability to read, comprehend, and respond to instructions and correspondence, both oral and written.
4. Cooperative team interaction with manufacturing department and other employees.
5. Ability to work in hot and cold environments without climate control.
6. In-person attendance is required.

Must be available to work 11:00 pm - 7:30 am
