Job summary

CaptiveAire Systems, Inc. in Muskogee, OK seeks a dependable Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will prepare machines, study blueprints, set up tooling, adjust controls, and document production actions in logs.

Qualifications

• Requires attention to detail, safety, and quality.
• Ability to work with controls and instrumentation.
• Ability to read and work from prints, schematics, and technical bulletins.
• Ability to read tape measures and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Prepare machine for production by positioning and securing material.
• Determine sequence of operations by studying blueprints, specifications, and work orders.
• Set up and maintain tooling in Turret Punch and Panel Bender.
• Regulate machining speed and process by setting and adjusting controls.
• Maintain specifications by observing operations, detecting malfunctions, inspecting parts, adjusting controls.
• Resolve production problems by altering process to meet specifications; notify supervisor for resources.
• Ensure operation of equipment by performing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Document actions by completing production and quality logs.
• Contribute to team effort in other areas as needed.
• Maintain an orderly and tidy work environment.

Schedule:

• Monday-Thursday 6:30pm - 5:00am
• Some overtime required

Job Requirements

• Attention to detail, safety, and quality
• Ability to work with controls and instrumentation
• Ability to interface with modern touchscreen automated equipment
• Basic Microsoft Office/Windows knowledge is needed
• Capable of solving problems and using good judgment in making decisionsAbility to read and work from prints, schematics, and technical bulletins
• Ability to read tape measures and use good rudimentary math skills
• Capable of lifting 50 lbs. and standing for long periods

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required

Salary

• $18 and up depending on experience + 3rd shift Shift Differential
• Monthly bonus based on productivity and profits
