Job summary

CaptiveAire Systems in Muskogee, OK is hiring a Machine Operator for our 3rd shift manufacturing facility. You will prepare machines, set up tooling, and regulate operations to meet blueprints and work orders.

Responsibilities include preventing malfunctions, maintaining equipment, and logging production actions. We seek detail-oriented, safety-minded individuals with basic math and reading skills, able to lift 50 lbs and work long hours in a climate-controlled plant.

Schedule

• Monday-Thursday 6:30pm - 5:00am
• Some overtime required

We Are Looking For

Responsibilities Include

• Prepare machine for production by positioning and securing material
• Determine the sequence of operations by studying blueprints, specifications, and work orders
• Set up and maintain tooling in Turret Punch and Panel Bender
• Regulate machining speed and process by setting and adjusting controls
• Maintain specifications by observing operations; detecting malfunctions; inspecting parts; adjusting controls
• Resolve production problems by altering process to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources
• Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs
• Documents actions by completing production and quality logs
• Contributes to team effort working in other areas as needed
• Maintain an orderly and tidy work environment

Job Requirements

• Ability to interface with modern touchscreen automated equipment
• Basic Microsoft Office/Windows knowledge is needed
• Capable of solving problems and using good judgment in making decisions
• Ability to read and work from prints, schematics, and technical bulletins
• Ability to read tape measures and use good rudimentary math skills
• Capable of lifting 50 lbs. and standing for long periods

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required

Salary

• $18 and up depending on experience + 3rd shift Shift Differential
• Monthly bonus based on productivity and profits
