This is a 3rd shift role; the work schedule is: Monday - Friday, 10:00pm - 6:15am Eastern Time.

SUMMARY

Perform a variety of repetitive duties to set up and operate a rotational molding machine to produce various sizes of plastic containers and custom products. Perform secondary operations on roto-molded products as required.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work from both written and verbal instructions.
• Understand and follow standard safety and manufacturing procedures as documented.
• Follow established company and department policies and procedures.
• Safely and correctly use a variety of powered and manual hand tools, motorized hoists, gantries, and other equipment used in production.
• Read and understand blueprints and manufacturing work orders to produce products meeting specifications.
• Set up and service molds, monitor controls, check product quality, and make adjustments on machines.
• Share technical knowledge through training.
• Perform secondary operations on molded products as required.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work area and equipment.
• Maintain production and other records daily.
• Operate a rotational molding machine with minimal supervision.
• Perform other duties as required or directed.

QUALIFICATION GUIDELINES:

• Preferred: One year of experience operating plastic molding or similar machinery.
• Ability to understand and follow safety procedures.
• Ability to operate machinery and controls.
• Support and comply with Pelican’s objectives on Quality and Safety, with a focus on continual improvement.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced environment handling multiple projects.
• Communicate effectively and cooperatively with all levels of employees.
• Complete assignments within the specified timeframe.
• Willing to share technical knowledge through training.

Compensation & Benefits:
Our pay reflects labor costs across U.S. markets. Base pay is part of a total compensation package, with potential for growth. The annual pay range varies by location and qualifications.
