Job Summary

Retrieves, inspects, and prepares product to customer specifications.

Job Responsibilities

• Operates press, inspects, and prepares parts for shipment according to Operator Instructions.
• Notifies supervisor of non-conforming product or issues with machines or materials.
• Communicates production issues with the next press operator and grinds parts/scrap as needed.
• Reads job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
• Reviews product for inconsistencies or abnormal appearance to ensure quality standards.
• Performs routine machine maintenance.
• Knows the basics of hand tools (power tools, such as drills and grinders).
• Assists other operators with machine setup and other tasks to meet deadlines.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, or at least one month of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to obtain certification for Forklift and Crane within 6 months.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. regularly.
• Ability to work in hot, cold, and dusty environments.
