Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare festoons, jigs, and saws, and make adjustments as necessary for each work order using hand tools.
• Dependable and able to work overtime as required.
• Adhere to specific quality standards to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Read various measurement equipment including tape measures, calipers, and micrometers.
• Read and interpret work orders to understand machine setup requirements.
• Perform periodic quality checks to ensure compliance with specifications and/or COAs.
• Build pallets to customer specifications to pack out finished product.
• Manually pack finished product onto pallets for shipment.
• Knowledge of machine parts and functions.
• Interact with Seltrol system.
• Set up and troubleshoot overwrap orders.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
• Follow safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• Typically possess a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 1-2 years of relevant experience.

Knowledge and Skills

• Follow directions and work well in a team.
• Competency in machine setup.
• Ability to communicate expectations with crew.
• Lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Stooping, bending, and moving about the plant for up to 8 hours per day.
• Ability to read tape measures, calipers, and other measuring tools.
