Job summary

The Toro Company in Iron Mountain, MI is seeking a skilled machine operator for our BOSS Snowplow division. You will perform metalworking tasks including cutting, bending, drilling, and finishing steel and copper components to blueprint specifications.

Requirements include reading blueprints, using measuring tools, and a high school diploma or GED. Vocational training or prior machine operating experience is preferred. Monday–Friday, 3:00pm–11:00pm with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Vocational training or previous experience in a machine operating setting is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to read blueprints.
• Must be able to use measuring tools and devices.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Shear, saw, laser cut, plasma cut, bend, roll, drill, tap, punch, cope, wire brush, de-burr, and grind steel plate, sheet and structural shapes as required by the Employer.
• Form, cut, bend, punch, and drill copper bus as required by the Employer.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and cleaning as required on each machine as defined by the Employer.
• Perform first article and other piece part inspections as required by the Quality System defined by the Employer

Starting Wage:

$19.91 + (5%) 1.00 Shift differential = $20.91

Hours:

Monday - Friday 3:00pm - 11:00pm (Overtime could make hours vary)
