Job Description:
- Set-up and operate various machines, including but not limited to:
- Vernon
- Blast
- Drills
- Saws
- Threaders
- Pipe Benders (Manual & CNC)
Set-up and regulate CNC gas burners for burning out vessels and pipes from ferrous metals.Program special cuts not on DNC.Hand punch layout lines as indicated by equipment.Maintain proper identification numbers.Assist in planning, cutting, and bending pipes for optimal quality and efficiency.Read and interpret drawings.Work within specified tolerances.Select, measure, and form pipe and tubing according to drawings.Use mathematics to calculate dimensions.Program pipe benders as required.Inspect and adjust parts to meet drawing specifications.Label parts per drawings.Detect and report unusual conditions or material defects.Measure and form materials for shearing, sawing, piercing, and forming parts.Handle materials appropriately.Maintain records of time, quality, and quantity.Keep work area and equipment clean and safe, following 5S standards.Perform preventive maintenance on equipment.Participate in team activities like Kaizen, 5S, and problem-solving exercises.Follow all safety policies and procedures, including JHRA's.
