Job summary

Forte Opening Solutions in Thorp, WI is seeking a General Laborer to support door manufacturing operations. The role involves loading and unloading, assembling, and moving doors through the production line, while following job orders and safety procedures.

You will rotate tasks across stations and contribute to a culture of quality and teamwork. The position offers a four-day work week with no weekends, potential overtime on Fridays, and opportunities for skill-based pay growth as proficiency

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
• Preferably one year experience in manufacturing setting working in a similar role

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

A General Laborer is responsible for performing various tasks to aid daily operations throughout the door manufacturing process. Their duties include loading and unloading doors or raw materials, assembling, crafting, and correct movement of doors throughout the manufacturing process. General Laborers are cooperative and willing to apply their skills in a variety of venues by regularly rotating positions to achieve success.

Responsibilities

• Follow job orders and schematics.
• Gather materials based on schematics.
• Craft and make basic repairs with various hand tools (I.E tape measure and various power tools).
• Perform safety checks and assessments on product and materials.
• Maintain workstation and general housekeeping.
• Support other team members through collaboration and clear and concise communication skills.
• Work safely, wear PPE and follow safety procedures.
• Day-to-day direction provided by supervisor.
