Job summary

Grassland Dairy Products, Inc. is seeking a Production Operator to follow safety, quality, and manufacturing practices in a dairy plant in Wisconsin. The role includes verifying weights, coding, and packaging, and performing assembly, disassembly, cleaning, and sanitizing of print and packaging equipment.

Responsibilities include maintaining records, operating multiple print and packaging machines, and assisting with general cleaning and housekeeping throughout the plant as needed.

• Follow and comply with applicable good manufacturing, safety, and quality assurance practices.
• Verify quality control items such as product weights, coding, packaging, etc.
• Perform assembly, disassembly, cleaning, and sanitizing of print and packaging equipment.
• Maintain proper documentation in all record keeping formats.
• Operate print & packaging equipment at an efficient level to fulfill plant demands which includes: Quarter pound and Pound print machines, Continental (counts as 2 types of machines) and Seal/Whip cup (counts as 2 types of machines), Whipper, Chips, and Spreadable machines.
• Assist with general cleaning and housekeeping throughout the plant as needed.
