Job summary

L&M Corrugated Container Corporation is seeking a dependable Machine Operator for the 2nd shift in Wisconsin to help keep production running safely and efficiently, ensuring corrugated products meet quality standards and customer expectations. You will set up, operate, and monitor production equipment, perform changeovers, and inspect finished products.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read a tape measure and do basic math.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends when needed.
• Pre-employment drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor production machinery.
• Perform machine changeovers and follow production specs.
• Run materials through machines per production orders.
• Inspect products for quality and report issues.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment problems to maintain output.
• Read and follow work orders, blueprints, and specs.
• Collaborate with team to hit daily production targets.
• Maintain a safe, clean work area and follow safety rules.
• Complete work orders as needed.

What You'll Do

As a Machine Operator, you'll play an important role in keeping our production operations running safely and efficiently while ensuring our corrugated products meet quality standards and customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor production machinery


• Perform accurate and efficient machine setups and changeovers


• Run materials through machines according to production specifications


• Inspect products to ensure quality standards are met


• Perform basic troubleshooting and machine adjustments to maintain production efficiency


• Identify and report equipment issues or defective materials


• Read and follow work orders, blueprints, and production specifications


• Work with team members to meet daily production goals


• Maintain a clean and safe work environment


• Follow all safety rules and regulations


• Complete work orders based on production needs

What We're Looking For

• Previous machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment preferred


• Experience in the corrugated packaging industry is a plus


• Strong mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills


• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment


• Willingness to learn and operate multiple types of production equipment


• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet throughout the shift


• Basic math skills and the ability to read a tape measure


• Ability to read and follow blueprints, production schematics, and detailed instructions


• High school diploma or equivalent required


• Willingness to work overtime and weekends when needed


• Ability to complete a pre-employment drug screening
